DURA Selected to Manage Neighborhood Stabilization Program for the City

The Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) has been selected by Denver’s Office of Economic Development to be an implementing partner for more than $2 million in Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds from the federal government.

Program funds will be used to purchase, rehabilitate, and resell foreclosed homes in target neighborhoods throughout the city; as well as to create long-term affordable housing options.  A newly created non-profit corporation – Denver Neighborhood Revitalization, Inc. – will manage the program targeting the Green Valley Ranch, Westwood, MarLee, and Barnum neighborhoods.  Residents interested in purchasing a rehabilitated home in these neighborhoods should contact DURA at 303-534-3872.

In addition to these target neighborhoods, a second implementing partner – Neighborhood Development Collaborative – will be managing funds for the Montebello, Eylria Swansea, Northeast Park Hill, West Colfax, Villa Park, and Athmar Park neighborhoods.
